Marc Debliquy

Marc Debliquy received the Ph.D. degree in the field of organic semiconductors for fire detection from the Faculty of Engineering, Mons, Belgium, in 1999. He joined Sochinor Company in 2000 and left in 2003 for joining in Materia Nova. He was responsible for the research activities in the field of gas sensors. In October 2008, he joined the Material Science Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Mons, and worked as the Team Leader of the Semiconductor and Sensor Group. He was promoted to an Associate Professor in September 2013. He is also the Co-Founder of the spin-off company B-Sens specialized in optical fiber sensors. His main research interest is smart coatings for chemical detection.
