Our current research interests are focused on adipocyte-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) and its modulatory role into the ovarian cancer (OC) microenvironment. Relapse, immune evasion and drug resistance are recurrent features in OC, which highlights a clinical need for novel treatment strategies. Understanding the intercellular crosstalk and the contribution of specific EV-cell types into the OC secretome is a promising approach in this direction.
