Salvatore Mangano

I am primarily specialized in high energy gamma-ray and neutrino astroparticle physics. I am author of more than 80 publications on reviewed journals. I obtained my PhD degree in particle physics at the ETH Zurich. I have more than 18 years of experience in experimental high-energy physics through four large European projects (CTA, ANTARES, H1, OPERA) working in six relevant institutions (UPM, CIEMAT, IFIC, NIKHEF, INFN, ETH). Currently, I have a principle investigator position shared between Universidad Politecnia de Madrid and CIEMAT research center fund by the BBVA Foundation with a Leonardo scholarship. I develop machine learning methods to study images taken by the Cherenkov Telescope Array observatory.
