I’m interested in how language develops, and how it interacts with the development of perception and attention. My dissertation focused on early development of neuropsychiatric conditions, such as autism, ADHD and language disorder. What we attend affect how we perceive the world and what we learn. Early differences in attention may therefore be a clue to understand diversity in language development and cognition, especially in neuropsychiatric conditions.
