Research Interests Worked over the past 15 years to define genetic basis of motile ciliopathies focusing on Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) that is a rare, usually autosomal recessive, genetically heterogeneous disorder of abnormal cilia structure, function and biogenesis. Additional interest includes defining possible genetic causes of “idiopathic bronchiectasis.”
