Mahendra Kashyap

Mahendra Kashyap is presently working as Scientist I and involved in research project which focused to decipher the molecular mechanism of Basal and Squamous cell carcinoma induced by UVB/IR irradiation in Skin of Ptch+/- /SKH-1 mouse and its chemo-prevention by different novel drugs targeting epigenetic and other anti-inflammatory mechanisms. Dr. Kashyap is also involved on work related to identify critical cellular and molecular targets involved in other inflammatory skin diseases, and to develop novel and innovative strategies for their prevention utilizing various non-toxic novel drugs including their development and construction such as antisense/antigomirs drugs and their formulation for effective delivery inside tissues as well as inside specific cell types.
