Magdalena Tolea is Research Assistant Professor at Charles E Schmidt College of Medicine, Integrated Medical Science Department, Florida Atlantic University. She received her PhD from the University of Maryland in 2007 and further postdoctoral training at the National Institute on Aging, Translational Gerontology Branch. Magdalena's research interest is focused on the interface between physical dysfunction and dementia and particularly the role that physical functional decline may have in the processes that lead to development of cognitive impairment and dementia.
