Maria Virginia Fernandez-Gonzalez

In research, 12 original articles published in prestigious journals and impact index, in the Materials Science, Multidisciplinary and Mineralogy fields, in the first decile (1/10) (Q1) on topics developed during my research / teaching career. The scientific aspects investigated and published have supposed original findings and participation in research projects. My research has had international projection and towards the industry (research contracts for a TRA009 National Project and collaboration in CDTI projects). I am member of the Research Group Soil Sciences and Gepharmacy (RNM 127), Andalusian Research Plan of the Junta de Andalucía. I also have stays in centers other than my usual research and experience in organizing scientific events. Other contributions that guarantee my research experience are works in national journals (16) and contributions to national and international conferences (56). In academic training, in addition to Research Proficiency (outstanding), doctoral program "Drug Development", Doctoral Thesis (outstanding cum laude), I have received teaching in other advanced courses to complete my training. I have a certificate of pedagogical aptitude (CAP). Regarding teaching, I have spent 18 years in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UGR, to which I have taught as a speaker in different specialization courses (even in other Universities). I have taught theory and practical classes for different subjects, collaborating in the preparation of practical teaching material. In addition, I have collaborated in Teaching Innovation Projects (European Higher Education) such as the implementation of the ECTS credit system, through work within the framework of specific scholarships during the 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2008/09 courses. In postgraduate teaching at the UGR, I have tutored 9 Master Thesis in the "Master in Research, Development, Control and Innovation of Medicines" at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Currently, I am part of the multidisciplinary Teaching Team of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UGR (within initial training programs, monitoring and tutelage of new teachers for the improvement of teaching) awarded in the VIII Call for Teaching Excellence Awards of the UGR .
