Michael Tran

Michael Tran received the M.Sc. degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse, Toulouse, France, in 2006 and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the Université Paris, Orsay, France, in 2009, on the topic of spintronics with semiconductors. He then joined the III-V Lab where he was involved in the development and fabrication of optoelectronics components, mainly edge-emitting GaAs and InP lasers. In 2012, he joined the Data Storage Institute, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where he is currently involved in research on spin-transfer torque MRAM.
