My research focuses on the palaeobiology of Middle Pleistocene Ursids in the Iberian Peninsula, specifically in the site of Postes Cave (Extremadura) where I have been working since 2007, and several sites located in the Basque Country, Valencia and Portugal. In addition, I am specialised in the morphometric study of the craniodental bones of Pleistocene Ursids from Iberia and Europe (France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland). I have obtained my PhD degree with distinction cum laude, with the thesis entitled Palaeobiological contributions on the family Ursidae in the Iberian Peninsula during the Middle Pleistocene: Ursus arctos Linnaeus, 1789, Ursus thibetanus (Cuvier, 1823) and Ursus deningeri von Reichenau, 1904. I have a total of 4 publications in peer-reviewed impact journals with an H-index of 2 (WOS). One of them is published in a Q1 (QSR). In the last two years I have obtained a total of 16 citations. In addition, I have led 4 presentations at national and international conferences.
