Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, with specialization in Clinical Analysis, master and PhD in Immunology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo. She is currently a Research Scientist VI at Laboratory of Immunogenetics, Butantan Institute. She has experience in the area of Immunology, with emphasis in Cellular Immunology, Immunogenetics, Immunoparasitology and Transplant Immunology, especially in the following areas: inflammation and regulation of immune response. She is currently studying the action of animal venoms in lines of mice genetically selected for acute inflammatory response and the immune response in horses immunized with animal venoms. She also colaborates on the Immunology in Schools Project, of the Platform for Teaching and Interaction with the Society of the Institute of Immunology Research.
