I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at NOVA Medical School and Decsis II Iberia, where we are addressing the role/potential of apolipoprotein J (ApoJ) and paraoxonase-1 (PON-1) as a mechanism-driven biomarker for NAFLD (mouse animal models and human studies).
Research Interests: Type 2 diabetes mellitus, NAFLD, diet-induced obesity, glucose and fructose metabolism.
