Current Research Bee products: propolis, honey, “água-mel”: composition and biological properties. Phytochemistry (essential oils, flavonoids, anthocyanins). Food Quality (post-harvest). Biological activities of secondary metabolites. She has teaching Organic Chemistry and Pharmacognosy with the publication of books to support students in these areas. Concerning scientific production, she has published around 100 publications indexed in Journal of Citation Index, 8 abstracts and 28 proceedings also indexed in Journal of Citation Index. She has also published other proceedings and abstracts from international meetings and 12 book chapters as well. Food Science and Phytochemistry are the main areas of such publications.
