Matteo D’Onorio received the M.Sc. degree in energy and nuclear engineering and disserted his Ph.D. thesis on safety and uncertainty quantification studies for fusion and fission nuclear power plants (NPPs) from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 2016 and 2020, respectively. He worked in a Consulting Company as a Data Scientist. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Sapienza University of Rome. He was awarded a EUROfusion Engineering Grant to perform safety studies for the EU-DEMO Reactor in 2020. His research interests include safety studies and modeling of multiphysics phenomena in nuclear reactors.
