My research interest focuses on the ecology and conservation of birds, especifically how populations face global change. I have been working for years on: 1) habitat selection, demographic components, population modelling, regulation processes, and intra and interspecific competition in raptors; 2) factors facilitating biological invasions (current exotic avian invaders but also native urban invaders) and their consequences; 3) conservation of parrots in the Neotropics (poaching, habitat)
