Bio

Maria Carla Gilardi is a full Professor of electronic bioengineering and informatics at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Milan, Italy, and Director of the CNR Institute for Molecular Bio-imaging and Physiology, Milan. She is responsible for instrumentation and image processing at the PET Centre, Scientific Institute Hospital San Raffaele, and a Consultant for the Italian Ministry of Health. She currently leads research projects in molecular imaging.
