Marc René Baril

I have been maintaining, upgrading and assisting in the design of existing and new visible and infrared astronomical instrumentation at the Canada France Hawaii Telescope since 2005. My interests/skill-sets lie in visible and infrared detectors and readout systems, optical design/modelling and electronics. Major projects I have worked on are, sensor readout for the WIRCam H2Rg arrays, commissioning including major upgrades of the SITELLE imaging Fourier transform spectrograph, and optical modeling for MSE. I am also one of the technical leads maintaining the telescope mirror coatings, and have been involved with developing and maintaining atmospheric seeing measurement equipment on Maunakea .
