Margaret has over 240 publications and her current research interest is centred on the imaging and quantitative assessment of bone health in inflammatory arthritis, myeloma and obesity. She works with a multidisciplinary group of radiologists, rheumatologists, physicists and engineers across the UK. Her research career has spanned the imaging of childhood tumours, HIV disease, breast MRI, and Disorders of Sex Development. She was first author of the first clinical paper on MRCP, and worked extensively on breast MR and MR assessment of the axilla in breast cancer.
