A Research fellow at Nottingham Trent University investigating sensory neuropathy within diabetes. I have 4 years of experience investigating spinal changes in the neurovascular unit which may impact neuronal firing during nociceptive signaling. Modeling in vitro cultures of pericytes, astrocytes, and endothelial cells to understand their role in influencing hemodynamic force. Additionally, establishing in vivo models exploring pain behavioral changes iand investigating spinal capillary network integrity in hyperglycemic and drug-injected rodent models.
