Lutz Schrottke

Lutz Schrottke received the Diploma and doctoral degree in experimental physics from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 1983 and 1988, respectively. From 1985 to 1991, he was with Zentralinstitut für Elektronenphysik, Berlin, Germany, working on thin-film electroluminescent devices. In 1992, he joined the Paul-Drude-Institut für Festkörperelektronik, Berlin, Germany, as a scientific staff member. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Physics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from 1995 to 1996. His research interests include THz quantum-cascade lasers as well as optical and transport properties of semiconductor heterostructures.
