Luis Vazquez

Dr. L. Vazquez has focused his work on Atomic Force Microscopy studies. Basically, his interests have been centred on inorganic and organic interfaces. In the first case, most of his works are devoted to the understanding of the growth/etching dynamics of interfaces, particularly thin films, in which the morphological experimental data are combined with those obtained by other techniques in order to contrast the observed behaviours with those predicted by different theoretical continuum growth equations, usually under the framework of the Dynamic Scaling Theory. Related to this item, he has been working in the last years in the surface patterning by ion beam sputtering processes.
