Lucy completed her first degree in Social Policy and Sociology at the University of Sheffield in 2006, her Masters in Applied Social Research at the University of Manchester and her PhD in Health Psychology supervised by Pauline Adair, Margaret Coffey and Cynthia Pine at the University of Salford. She was appointed as a Research Associate (Systematic Reviewer) in the School of Dentistry in 2012 and as Lecturer in Health Services Research in 2014.
