Luciana Oranges Cezarino

Luciana Oranges Cezarino was born on 01-07-1980 at Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. She is a social scientist that researches systems approach, sustainability, digital technologies, and interdisciplinarity. Besides her graduation in Economics, Luciana has been working in management departments since the beginning of her career. Currently, she works at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice as a researcher for a limited time-contract where she supervises masters and graduation thesis. She is a member of the Erasmus Commission of Ca' Foscari coordinating specific European mobility destinations. As a volunteer and visiting professor, she also supervises Ph.D. in the University of Sao Paulo, at the Fearp Business School, at Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. For seven years she worked as a professor in a Brazilian Federal Institution, the UFU, where she developed several institutional initiatives focused on the services to the community. She founded the Management Committee of Sustainable Development Goals (CGODS) which was called Agenda UFU 2030 and ran the office of PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education). Also, she promoted a project to give visibility to anti-racist and anti-sexism policies of elementary and medium schools in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Finally, she developed didactic material for teachers for the use of accessibility software to disable students during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a Brazilian woman married with two children. She learned the English language in a private school and Italian by self-learning.
