Luis Fernando Saraiva Macedo Timmers

My academic qualifications are: (a) B.Sc in Biological Sciences - Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2009) (b) M.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology - Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2011) (c) Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology - Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2015). During the last year of my Ph.D. I did an internship at the Department of Chemistry from University of Cambridge, UK. My research interest are in computational molecular biophysics and bioinformatics, particularly in the fields of protein flexibility, classical and hybrid molecular dynamics simulation, molecular modelling, molecular docking and protein-ligand interactions.
