Louena Shtrepi

My research and teaching interests rely on applied acoustics, more specifically in room acoustics and building acoustics. Since 2012, I started working on acoustic materials properties, acoustic simulations and measurement uncertainty. Furthermore, my aim is to raise awareness about acoustic issues and solutions for indoor and outdoor environments since the early stages of the design process by actively involving architects and designers. These aspects are continuously studied in multidisciplinary investigations that involve also subjective perceptual testing.
