Lorenzo Morelli

Phd Student in Smart Industry, University of Pisa, part of the Manufacturing Technologies Research Laboratory (MTRL) in the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIEF) of University of Firenze. I obtained the Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 from the University of Firenze with thesis entitled “Implementation of Orthogonal to Oblique Cutting Transformation Approach ” and in 2019 the Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with a thesis titled “Adaptive toolpath for 3 axis milling operations on thin-wall components”. In 2017 I was Cost Report Chief for the Formula Student Team, Firenze Race Team (FRT) at the University of Firenze. My main research interest are: machine surface error prediction and compensation, thin-wall machining, toolpath optimization.
