Stankovic has published numerous scientific papers, over 150 of them in the world leading scientific journals. His papers have been cited about seven and a half thousand times, while the applications and developments of his methods were the topics of numerous papers of eminent research groups from all over the world. Famous professors from the USA, in their paper on the estimation of spectra of discrete signals, have divided all estimators into two large families, naming one of them as variations on the Stankovic's class of estimators.
