His current research interests include adaptive control systems, variable-structure systems, stability and oscillations of nonlinear systems and their applications to industrial process control, industrial robotics, and underwater robotics.,Dr. Hsu is a member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Automática and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
