Lisandro Dalcin received the PhD degree in engineering sciences and computational mechanics from the National University of the Littoral (UNL), Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2008. He is a senior research scientist with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. He held an adjunct research associate position with National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), Argentina, from 2010 to 2017. His research interests include numerical methods in computational fluid mechanics, scalable solution methods for partial differential equations, and parallel computing on distributed memory architectures.
