My research interest focuses on ecology & evolution of macroalgae. My main goals are : i) to explore and assess the macro algal diversity by conducting comprehensive sampling strategies as well as integrative systematic approach combining morpho-anatomical and molecular characters ; ii) to investigate macroalgal communities patterns and how historical and contemporary processes influence these patterns ; and iii) to study the history of algal research with a particular interest on systematics.
