Saw Lin Oo

Educational Background: 2004, BSc (Hons), University of Pyay 2004-2006 MSc Engineering Physics, University of Yangon 2006-2007 Master of Research, Physics, University of Yangon 2007-2012 PhD Physics, University of Yangon 2016-2021 PhD Biophysics, City University of Hong Kong Dr Saw Lin Oo received his PhD in physics in materials science and engineering at University of Yangon in 2012. After receiving his PhD, he joined to University of Yangon as a lecturer. In 2016, he awarded PhD fellowship and moved to City University of Hong Kong. He started his PhD training at Prof. Vellaisamy A.L Roy’s laboratory, where he developed his interest in the structure/function relationship of RNA/protein complex and their functional roles in the cell. Presently, he is working on research area of materials sciences, biophysics and biomedical physics.
