Lidia Roca

Lídia Roca received the Academic degree in electronic engineering from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 2004, and the master’s degree in solar energy and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Almería, Almería, Spain, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. She is currently with the Solar Thermal Applications Unit, Plataforma Solar de Almería, Spanish Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicos (CIEMAT), Almería. Her main research lines are the modeling, control, and optimization of systems powered by solar thermal energy, mainly solar thermal desalination. Dr. Roca was granted by the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in Engineering for her Ph.D. degree.
