Lin Liang

Lin Liang was born in China on January 26, 1945. He received his B.S. degree in radio department from Chinese University of Science and Technology in 1968, and his M.S. study at Chinese Academy in 1978–1980, and his Ph.D in Smart Product Design from Stanford University in 1992. He joins Center for Study Language and Information at Stanford University as senior research scientist from 1992 to 1996. He worked as ASIC algorithm and architecture leader at LSI Logic and TVIA from 1996–2000. He found Chengdu West Star Chip Company in 2001 to design and manufacture ASIC for digital TV systems. He found CDNSE in 2006. He used to be IEEE member since 1997. His research interests include algorithm developments in digital signal processing, ASIC design and embedded system design in image processing and modern communication.
