Hongfei Li

Hongfei Li, a designer and researcher in Embodied Landscape Experience, currently a PhD student in built environments at University of Washington, previously a landscape designer practicing at Stoss Landscape Urbanism and Reed Hilderbrand Landscape Architecture. I got my MLA at RISD (with certificate in Teaching and Learning Art&Design) and Bsc at SCUT(5-yr training in landscape architecture and architecture). In my work, I try to craft the dynamic spatial perceptions via two major design parameters: the occurrence/succession of landscape phenomenon in time and the movement of the thinking-body in space, from the complementary perspectives of Phenomenology and East Asian landscape aesthetics. hongfei-li.com
