He has been engaged in an extensive research on data mining, machine learning, pattern recognition, neural networks and fuzzy systems. Among others, he developed a new class of probabilistic neural networks and neuro-fuzzy systems, recently he has presented several new approaches to stream data mining. All the results have been published in various series of IEEE Transactions.
