Dr Lesong Conteh is a health economist with a research focus on the economics of infectious diseases, primarily malaria, and health system performance in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has extensive experience of coordinating multi-country economic evaluations to assess the impact of introducing and scaling up interventions via different delivery strategies. She is an Associate Professorial Research Fellow in the Department of Health Policy and academic lead for the newly established African Health Observatory - Platform on Health Systems and Policies.
