Lei Liu

Lei Liu [M'11] received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from BUPT in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He is currently with the Next Generation Networking Systems Laboratory, UC Davis. From 2009 to 2012, he was with KDDI R&D Laboratories, Inc., Saitama, Japan. His main research interests include wavelength switched optical networks, elastic optical networks, network control and management techniques (e.g., MPLS/GMPLS, PCE, OpenFlow), SDN, network architectures, and grid/cloud computing. He has coauthored more than 90 peer-reviewed papers related to the previously mentioned research topics in international journals, conferences, and book chapters, and is the first author of more than 50 of them. He has presented several invited talks at international conferences, including some prestigious ones such as ECOC'11, ECOC'12 and IEEE GLOBECOM'12.
