Bio
Leah Tsror received the B.Sc. degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel, in 1978, the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Be’er Sheva, Israel, in 1980 and 1990, respectively.
She was a Post-doc at Reading University, Reading, U.K. She worked as the Director of the Gilat Research Center, Gilat, Israel, ARO, from 2008 to 2013. She is a Research Group Leader with the Department of Plant Pathology, ARO, Gilat. She has published over 120 peer-reviewed publications. Her research interests include epidemiology and management of potato diseases, populations of soil-borne pathogens, and host-pathogen interactions.
Dr. Tsror is a member of the EAPR Council (2013-up-to-date). She is on the Editorial Boards of Potato Research and Phytoparasitica (both published by Springer). She has been the Chairperson of the Pathology and Pests Section of the EAPR (European Association of Potato Research).
