Lawrence H. Staib

Lawrence Staib is Professor of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering at Yale University in New Haven CT, USA. He received his A.B in Physics from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale University. He is a member of the editorial board of Medical Image Analysis and Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering. He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. He was elected to the Council of Distinguished Investigators of the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research. His research interests are in the development of methods for medical image analysis with applications in cancer, neuroimaging, and cardiology using machine learning and model-based approaches.
