My research interests are in implementation research and applying mixed methods approaches to studies. I bring over 30 years of experience using quantitative experimental design and analysis methods and over 14 years of qualitative and mixed methods experience on a broad range of health service research topics with special emphasis in implementation science. Prior to my research positions with VHA, I worked for over 15 years in the private sector, leading efforts to design and evaluate organizational interventions, decision support systems, and realigning incentives in healthcare services organizations. I am first author of the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), which has been cited in nearly 400 published articles. I have been PI/co-PI of multiple funded studies.
