Career Trajectory
Bio
His main fields of teaching and research have been numerical methods, ground vibration, soil-structure interaction, offshore wind, building acoustics, structural analysis, constitutive modelling, and statistical analysis. He has supervised 17 PhD students and more than 70 MSc students within these areas, and he has published over 150 papers in high-ranking scientific journals and international conference proceedings. He has been involved in several research projects focused on cost reduction of foundations for offshore wind turbines as well as dynamic soil–structure interaction.
