Liliana Rincon-Gonzalez received both the B.S.E degree in bioengineering (cum laude) and the B.A. degree in psychology (summa cum laude) from Arizona State University, Tempe, in 2007. In 2010 she completed the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University, where her research involved the characterization of an organic LED (OLED) display capable of eliciting patterned activation in both in vitro and in vivo channelrhodopsin-2 mouse cortical neurons, with the purpose of developing an alternative method for brain stimulation to provide somatosensory feedback to a prosthetic device. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in biomedical engineering at Arizona State University, where her research involves the analysis of the proprioceptive map of arm location.
