My research focuses on improving the health care and health of people with chronic illnesses including kidney disease, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. I study the influence of medical, social, community and health care system factors on these conditions, and I seek to improve health through practical strategies and pragmatic interventions that are informed by pateint and community needs.
