Kozo Okano

Kimitoshi Okano was born in Gunma, Japan, in 1969. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in metallurgy from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1993 and 1995, respectively. In 1995, he joined the Process Engineering Center, Semiconductor Company, Toshiba Corporation, Kawasaki, Japan, where he has been engaged in the development of sub-0.25-mm DRAMs. In 2001, he moved to the SoC Research and Development Center, Toshiba Corporation Semiconductor Company, Yokohama, Japan, and since then, he has been engaged in the research and development of sub-50-nm CMOS devices. He is currently with the Center for Semiconductor Research and Development, Semiconductor Company, Toshiba Corporation, Yokohama.
