Socio-cultural anthropologist working in science & technology studies, main interest in space and society. My work to date deals with the anthropological question in contemporary socioeconomic context: what does it mean to be human in the space age? This involves the study of how different cultures - namely cultures of science and scientific cultures - define ‘life’ and its environment. From the correlation between the idea of alien life, patterns of human action and transformations of human relations to outer space as well as their planet, throughout my work I follow the changing concepts of contemporary world-view, shaped by the discoveries of science.
