Kingsley C Anukam worked at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, University of Benin. He currently works as a research coordinator at SJHC London, ON and Scientist at Uzobiogene Genomics. He does research in Human Microbiome and Probiotics with state-of-the-art technologies employing Illumina MiSeq and Oxford Nanopore MinIon. He is a visiting researcher to the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and currently supervises MSc and PhD students. Their current projects are microbiome and functional prediction from different body sites; Microbiome of Healthy Vagina and bacterial vaginosis; Gut and Oral microbiome in Diabetes, Lean and overweight Nigerians. Development of Lactobacillus vaginal suppositories and use of multi-species probiotics in UTI.
