个人简介
Kimberleigh Tommy is currently a PhD Candidate in Biological Anthropology at the Human Variation and Identification Research Unit (HVIRU) based at the School of Anatomical Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand. She obtained her Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Palaeoanthropology with distinction from the University of The Witwatersrand in 2018. Her research focuses on the evolution of bipedalism by examining the trabecular structure of various joints of the lower limb through the use of high-resolution Micro-CT images. She is also interested in ontogenetic development of gait and the effect of pathology on joint mechanics.
