Kexin Zhao received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, USA. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Information Systems and Operations Management, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, USA. Her research interests include IT standardization, electronic commerce, digital piracy, and virtual communities. Her papers have been published in journals such as Decision Support Systems, Electronic Markets, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, and Journal of Management Information Systems.
