Kevin Renz Ambrocio

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh and a member of the Swallowing Disorders Initiative Lab, where my research mainly focuses on uncovering sporadic inclusion body myositis’ impact on swallowing and airway clearance mechanisms. My work also aims to reveal how contextual factors (e.g., age, sex, task) affect swallowing and cough biomechanics. Further, I am interested in statistical modeling, translational science, and dysphagia care within the biopsychosocial framework.
