Kevin M. Daniels received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina in 2009, 2012, and 2014, respectively. From 2014 to 2017 at UMD, he served as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow residing at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics, University of Maryland, College Park. He has published over 30 journal articles and has given over 30 conference talks. His current research interests include the growth of various two-dimensional materials, transition metal oxides, and dichalcogenides for environmental and biological sensors, batteries, and fuel cells.
